World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the worldโs leading conservation organizations, seeks a Associate Video Producer
The Associate Video Producer is a hybrid role with the video team to create videos for various conservation programs including, but not limited to, Oceans, Forests, Food and Freshwater, Species, Markets, and Climate. They will work with video producers and other communicators to build compelling conservation stories and assets. The Associate Video Producer supports all phases of video projects in the studio and in the field as well as the editing of videos for various WWF channels and audiences.
Responsibilities
Perform editing duties as assigned. Such duties shall include editing short form programmatic documentaries and clips for social media, marketing, and communications creativeCreate video loops for events or as neededAssemble stringouts of footageDevelop and apply kinetic type and motion graphicsCollaborate with designers to elevate 2D animation and motion graphics into branded videos Assist with video production in studio and on field productionsManage logistics for field shootsEdit B-roll packages for WWFโs digital asset management system, the HIVE, and for other archival purposes as neededResearch archival assets, stock footage, and music for a variety of video project needsCreate shot lists for B-roll packages, to be included in metadata for the workflow to the HIVEMaintain organization and accuracy of metadata entries related to institutional communications, conservation issues, and brand continuityCoordinate bookings for video sessions in a clean and orderly studioPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelorโs degree and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in editing, filmmaking, communications, or related fields Skilled in video research and editing, with attention to detail and nuances needed to aptly convey WWF storiesSkilled with video cameras to perform basic recording of interviews and B-roll in studio and field locationsSkilled with audio recording tools requiredProficient in the use of editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) and knowledge of various file formats and conversion optionsExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills required to work with stakeholders, designers, and other colleaguesEffective judgment to plan, organize, troubleshoot, and complete multiple projects within specified deadlines, on or under budgetPreferred Software Experience 1-2 years of experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, especially Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder.
