The Treasury Client Solutions Department provides IFCโs clients with innovative forms of local currency financing with a focus on the development of domestic debt markets to help increase the capacity for long-term local currency investment. The group has global responsibility for derivative transactions (cross currency swaps, interest rate swaps, currency forwards, and Eurodollar futures), structured products (securitizations, asset-backed lending, covered bonds, credit guarantees, risk participations, structured debt funds and similar structures), and debt capital markets, including IFC's own local currency bond issuances.ย ย

IFC is conducting a search for an Associate Financial Officer/Financial Officer to join the Treasury Client Solutions Department based in Singapore.ย
Duties and Accountabilities:
His/her primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:ย
โขย Develop, structure, and execute transactions to provide local currency financing solutions to IFCโs clients through debt capital markets, structured products and local currency derivatives;
โขย Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international investment banks, local banks, capital market firms, investors, and regulators, at a senior level;
โขย Market treasury products to clients, regulatory agencies, and banks;
โขย Conduct market intelligence of local and international debt capital markets;
โขย Contribute to IFCโs efforts to develop, expand or deploy structured finance products and/or capital market solutions for clients in the region;ย
โขย Contribute to business development and market treasury products to internal and external clients;ย
โขย Manage the preparation and execution of IFCโs local currency bond issuances and associated approval process;
โขย Design, maintain and improve financial models to structure, evaluate and price innovative fixed income transactions including securitizations, asset-backed lending, and guarantee structures;ย ย
โขย Provide training and knowledge management services to internal and external clients.
Selection Criteria
โขย Masterโs degree in Finance or Financial Engineering, Economics, Financial Mathematics, Statistics or an equivalent combination of education and experience;ย
โขย At least 5 years finance experience, preferably in fixed income and structured finance within an investment bank, rating agency, or other capital-markets related entity;ย
โขย Prior knowledge (as evidenced by concrete transaction examples) of structured finance and/or debt capital markets, and enthusiasm for the development of domestic capital markets;ย
โขย Sound business judgment and strong negotiation skills, and good track record in transaction execution in an investment environment;ย
โขย Knowledge and experience working in fixed income markets (including bonds, interest rate/FX derivatives and structured products)
โขย Experience in emerging markets and/or familiarity with IFCโs investment process would be a plus;ย
โขย Strong analytical and problem solving capability;ย
โขย Experience with analyzing financial data and familiarity with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg or Reuters;ย
โขย Good data analysis and financial modeling skills, and advanced knowledge of Excel and other statistical software packages is desirable;ย
โขย Proven ability to multi-task and work towards tight deadlines;ย
โขย Ability to travel frequently;ย
โขย Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and strong oral and written communication skills;ย
โขย Good business judgment and good track record in transaction execution in an investment environment;
โขย Highly motivated, results-oriented self-starter with proven capacity for teamwork;ย
โขย Fluency in English is a must. Additional language skills would be a plus.ย
