Description of Organization: This position is located in PS. REFSโ mission is to partner to advance inclusive agriculture-led growth, resilience, nutrition, and access to water and sanitation.
Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as a technical expert on fisheries/aquaculture. May support broader technical assistance related to CAโs livestock portfolio. Provides technical assistance related to animal health, livestock, and fisheries/aquaculture and to field-based Missions in support of strategic planning; policy; program design and management; and monitoring, evaluation and learning related to aquaculture, fisheries, and livestock. Responsible for program planning and implementation in these areas of expertise. Provides technical, analytical, and administrative support for all stages of program implementation and program segments which cover aquaculture, fisheries, and livestock. Engages with a wide range of USAID staff and implementing partners involved in food security programming, particularly around production systems, sustainable intensification, aquaculture, fisheries, and livestock. Performs other duties as assigned.
Specialized Experience: For the FL-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience at the FL-04 (GS-12) grade level or equivalent. Specialized experience is defined as:
