About this position:

The IDB Group Staff Association (SA) is currently looking for dedicated, dynamic, hard-working, client focus, and team-oriented experience professional to join the team to provide support to SA麓s manager and SA team in a broad range of technical and operative functions.

The SA is an organization that represents the general interest of its members. The SA promotes the general welfare of the IDB Group employees through social, cultural, sporting, or recreational activities. Fosters unity among the employees through actions designed to improve both human and labor relations within the IDB Group. The SA serves as a liaison between employees and management of the Bank and collaborates with the Administration in the promotion of Bank objectives to foster increased productivity, dedication, and passion for the development and integration of member countries.

What you鈥檒l do:

As part of the SA team, you will be accountable to:

Receive and manage general calls, inquiries, requests, and correspondence, responding/ forwarding as appropriate. Arrange calendars/meetings, including coordinating requests for meetings organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointment; arrange meetings and set up the equipment (logistical support) for the meetings or events as required. Arrange documents for internal and external meetings as requested. Support the archives project of the Association and the records management team in keeping the archive updated, in proper condition, and following the disposition and retention schedules of the IDB Group. This includes the review and digitalization of current paper files. Elaborate and keep an inventory of all office supplies and materials. Ensure all relevant documentation for meetings, travel and tasks are prepared in advance, and liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the information is thorough and complete. Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements, in connection with others if necessary, and ensure arrangements in place for the manager match his requirements. Support and/or coordinate SA services: La Tiendita, Legal Services, Bikeshare, fitness center, membership inquiries and follow-up; and other outreach services as may be required. Provide members with information on the SA services and benefits in a timely manner. Support members with and, when needed, redirect them to the webpage and/or to the corresponding team members when members ask about the membership, fitness center, bikeshare, external lawyers or other service and benefits of the SA. Provide other technical and administrative support for SA Office (this includes all the SA areas or divisions) and daily and periodic operation activities and special projects.

What you'll need:

Education: bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration or related fields. Experience: at least 2 years of experience in similar positions. Languages: fluency in English and Spanish.

Requirements:

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab. Type of contract: Full Time International Consultant (CNS). Length of contract: 6 months. Work location: On site.
