Action Against Hunger USA is part of the Action Against Hunger International network. As an independent NGO, Action Against Hunger USA currently manages operations in 8 countries: Kenya, South Sudan, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia and Haiti. Action Against Hunger-USA has over $100 million in programs, and approximately 1,800 permanent staff based in New York City, Washington D.C, Nairobi, and country offices. Additional growth is anticipated.

Essential job roles

1. The primary objective of this position is to support in the up-coming ALL SECTOR - Workshop by;

Ensure smooth and ample communication with all registered participants with up-to-date information within 24 hrs. Manage any queries that may arise during registration. Develop participant database that includes critical information and uploaded Ensure that the APP is updated with the most recent information on a daily/weekly basis. Working closely with Admin and Security, ensure updated SOP and administrative notes are available on time and updated. Link participants on a common WhatsApp group.

2. Visa Processing

Ensure all registered participants receive up to date and correct visa processing documents. These include invitation letters and hotel letters. Liase with HEARO admin and contact the hotel for all necessary details. Prepare and store a secure repository of participant \u2018sensitive\u2019 documents that may be needed in the process to include passports etc.

3. Ticketing and Airport Transfers

Prompt participants for tickets and maintain a database of these. Catalogue the tickets with transport provider ensuring timely and appropriate pickups/ airport transfers

4. Accommodation and Conferencing

Support in pre and post booking of accommodation for participants Ensure all participants are appropriately booked in identified location before, during and after workshop Provide administrative support during the workshop Ensure needed training material are well kept during the workshop

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Course or related field. Internship experience
