The Role

Oxfam International is looking for an Office Manager for the EU Advocacy Office in Brussels, Belgium. This role is a key position within the EU office, responsible for managing and overseeing all internal operations such as finances, administration, legal issues, and HR. The Office Manager is the main contact person for all internal and external service providers and manages these relations in an effective way. The Office Manager is also overseeing the work of the small EU admin team (3 other people) and ensures, together with the Head of Office, that the EU Office is running smoothly and is a welcoming, efficient and feminist place for the 30+ Oxfam colleagues working there.

Who weโ€™re looking for

We are looking for a new colleague who has highly developed interpersonal skills and both an ability and a desire to work well as part of a team. Our ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. They should also have relevant experiences in managing a diverse range of admin tasks in a medium-sized office (20+ colleagues), experience in relationship management, and a thorough understanding of Belgian laws, rules and procedures on human resources and the non-profit sector. Oxfam is committed to providing a fair compensation package and to providing a flexible, supportive, working environment.

The gross salary is โ‚ฌ 63,353 per annum based on a 36-hour week, together with contractual benefits

of 25 days holiday per annum and local public holidays (salary and holidays will be prorated to accommodate the offer of 0.6FT); Life insurance at 1 or 2 x salary; 6 per cent

employer contribution to the Complementary Pension Scheme with company NN Insurance Belgium.

You will receive a representation allowance and a transport allowance.
