JOB SUMMARY

The Zonal Manager, Community Engagement will be a member of the project team and work closely with Ghana Health Service (GHS)/Health Promotion Division (HPD), District Health Management Teams (DHMTs), Community Health Management Committees (CHMCs), local non-governmental organizations, community organizations, USAID, and others to accelerate the uptake and performance of key health behaviors. Priority areas of focus include malaria prevention and treatment; maternal newborn and child health (MNCH); nutrition; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); family planning (FP)/reproductive health (RH), and public health emergencies (PHE), both nationally and in targeted districts in the three regions of focus within the Southern zone.

The Zonal Manager, Community Engagement will work under the oversight of the Deputy Chief of Party to provide specialized technical assistance to the GHS-HPD, local civil society, and partner organizations to review, plan, manage implementation, and monitor community engagement interventions.
