Job HighlightReporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will serve as the Workday HCM specialist consultant focused on Recruitment. This is a consulting role designed to provide light-touch support in the month before go-live and then drive post-go-live stabilization, adoption, and optimization. You will act as a bridge between TA/HR and technical teams, ensuring recruitment workflows are designed effectively and enabling HR teams and hiring managers to make the most of Workday. You will work with teams across different geographies and time zones, supporting local TA teams as well as people management teams. What you will do:Pre-Go-Live (20%):
- Assist with training preparation and documentation for TA users and hiring managers.
- Provide readiness input to ensure smooth transition into go-live
- Review and validate existing user manuals by testing them against real recruitment workflows, ensuring accuracy
- Provide readiness input to confirm TA preparedness Post-Go-Live Stabilization & Optimization (60%):
- Act as the functional expert for Workday Recruitment, supporting adoption and optimization post-launch.
- Troubleshoot recruitment-related issues, manage enhancements, and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Review and refine recruitment workflows (job requisitions, candidate pipeline management, offers, onboarding) for efficiency and compliance.
- Translate Workday system language into clear HR/TA terms for stakeholders.
- Advise on quick wins and design improvements for better user experience.TA Enablement & Collaboration (20%):
- Deliver training, guidance, and knowledge transfer to recruiters, hiring managers, and HR staff.
- Partner with the reporting/analytics team to define requirements and develop dashboards and reports that support TA metrics and decision-making.
- Build TA team capability to independently manage Recruitment processes in Workday.
- Collaborate across global time zones to support consistency in adoption and usage.What you will need:
- Education: Educational background in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
- Workday HCM certification (Recruitment module preferred) is essential
- Experience with Workday HCM with a strong focus on Recruitment/Talent Acquisition.
- Hands-on involvement in both implementation/training prep and post-go-live support for at least two different large high matrixed organizations.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and how they integrate with HCM.
- Strong Workday technical experience, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience working with Workday Business Processes (BPs), including design, optimization, and maintenance.
- Ability to translate technical Workday concepts into TA/HR business language.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and configuration skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven experience in training and capacity building for HR and TA teams.
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
- Flexibility to collaborate across global time zones.
- Knowledge of change management principles desirable.Deliverables:
- Assist with training preparation and documentation for TA users and hiring managers.
- Review and validate existing user manuals by testing them against real recruitment workflows, ensuring they are accurate, practical, and fully prepare TA users and hiring managers for go-live.
- Provide readiness input to confirm TA preparedness for go-live.
- Documented review of Workday Recruitment business processes with recommendations for improvements.
- Implementation of agreed enhancements and quick wins in Recruitment workflows.
- Log and resolution tracking of Recruitment-related issues.
- Host dedicated office hours to provide hands-on support and address TA user inquiries
- Review the knowledge transfer plan for TA team to independently manage Recruitment processes.
- Defined reporting/analytics requirements for TA, developed in partnership with the reporting team.
- A short post-project summary report highlighting achievements, outstanding issues, and next steps.
