Description of the Assignment:
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Nepal is currently implementing a project Strengthening Health resilience in Nepal-HIV, TB & Malaria (Global Fund) that requires the services of a National Consultant to provide technical assistance for managing and coordinating the National IBBS Surveys among PWID in Nepal 2025-26 to perform the work described as per the attached Terms of Reference (ToR) โ Annex 1.
Objectives of the assignment
The consultancy aims to generate robust evidence on HIV/STI prevalence and behavioral risk factors among PWID, while identifying priority intervention sites to maximize service coverage and impact.The Consultant provide specialized expertise in:โข Survey methodology and samplingโข Biological and behavioral data collection toolsโข Field monitoring and supervisionโข Data checking, cleaning, and managementโข Statistical analysis using appropriate tools and proceduresโข Report writing and dissemination to communities, stakeholders, and donors
Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 30 days spread over three months
