The aim of the assessment was to gain deeper insights into their situation, assess their protection needs, and gather their proposed solutions to inform and guide future interventions. This report is a key document summarizing these findings.
Task DescriptionThe online volunteer is required to translate the UNHCR Participatory Assessment Kyrgyz Republic Report for 2023 and the UNHCR Participatory Assessment Kyrgyz Republic Report for 2024 from English to Russian. The total text volume is approximately 46 pages, covering key findings on livelihoods, Refugee Status Determination (RSD) procedures, and the experiences of stateless persons regarding state procedures for determining statelessness status and citizenship in the Kyrgyz Republic. Certain data is presented in the form of graphs and statistics. Specifically, the volunteer will: - Translate the entire Participatory Assessment Report 2023 from English to Russian, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to UNHCR terminology. - Translate the entire Participatory Assessment Report 2024 from English to Russian, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to UNHCR terminology - Guarantee that the translated content is accurate, understandable, culturally appropriate, and easy to comprehend. - Review and revise translations based on feedback from UNHCR staff. - Provide suggestions or comments on how to improve the clarity, tone, and accessibility of both the original English text and the Russian translation. - Contribute to expanding the inclusivity and accessibility of key UNHCR reports for Russian-speaking audiences in Central Asia. The translated report will be used for external dissemination and engagement with national partners.
