The aim of NRCโ€™s LFS programme is to enable vulnerable displaced people and host communities to get emergency access to food, improve their access to income earning opportunities, or start small enterprise development, so they can support their families. This is part of NRC Afghanistanโ€™s broader strategy to promote durable solutions to displacement beyond short-term emergency assistance and to prevent further displacement.ย 

The Supervisor/Community Liaison - LFS will help implement LFS programmes in the Zabul province including its districts such as Sha joy, Shahr-e-Safa districts including surrounding areas. This role requires spending up to 80% of the time in the field, primarily in Sha Joy, Shahr-e-Safa districts, and Qalat city. The LFS Supervisor/Community Liaison will be responsible for overseeing the livelihood and food security components, including Cash for Work activities, the distribution of honey production and solar dryer kits, and conducting related training sessions in the aforementioned areas. Specifically, in assisting to identify the areas of project implementation, beneficiariesโ€™ selection survey, data entry and facilitate LFS project activities implementation in the field. The post holder will be reporting to LFS team including the FOC in Zabul.
