The Salary for this position is INR 1,20,000/- per month, also employee will be covered with medical benefits as per WFP 's Plan. All Tax liability for payments from this contract are to be borne by the subscriber.JOB PURPOSE
To provide technical assistance in design, implementation and management of digital platforms for facilitating portability of food-based social protection programmes such as TPDS, Anganwadi Services and School Meals enabling seamless access for migrant women, children and their families.
The position holder will coordinate with government stakeholders, technology vendors and research institutions and will contribute to capacity-building efforts.
The role also involves project management and monitoring of the SMART Warehouse initiative and an associated research study, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance and continuous innovations through enhancements such as Autonomous Mobile Robots and AI based CCTV solution
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (Not all inclusive)
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Unit, Social Protection and Supply Chain, WFP New Delhi, the National Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Supporting Development and Implementation of Digital Solutions for Social protection portability
- Assist in designing and implementation of an integrated digital platform for real-time mobility tracking of migrants.
- Support in organising stakeholder consultation workshop to facilitate solution design
- Create an implementation plan outlining key milestones, timelines and responsibilities for the rollout of digital solutions.
- Provide support to identify, onboard and manage vendors, including coordination, documentation, and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
2. Support in Project Management and Documentation social protection portability:
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, performance and resource utilization and submit regular monitoring reports
- Assist in drafting concept notes, reports and presentations for project updates and stakeholder meetings.
- Assist in documenting best practices, lessons learned and recommendations for scaling up successful initiatives.
3. Coordination and Capacity Building support
- Coordinate with the State-level and District-level government functionaries to facilitate smooth project implementation.
- Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions for government functionaries.
- Support the development and administration of e-learning modules for government functionaries.
4. SMART Warehouse Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of SMART Warehouses, ensuring proper maintenance and operational efficiency.
- Assist in enhancing the solution through implementation of Autonomous Mobile Robots and AI based CCTV solution.
- Coordinate with IGMRI and Government to facilitate SMART warehouse study and refine SMART warehouse alerts.
- Conduct desk research on the latest trends and advancements in smart warehousing and grain storage.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Advanced University degree or First level University Degree from an institute of repute in any of the following disciplines: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in project management preferably in digital solutions for social protection or supply chain convergence initiatives, in the large-scale technology/e-governance project settings.
- Experience in coordination with multiple stakeholders for designing, implementing and managing solutions/ digital platforms to improve public systems
- Experience in onboarding vendors and monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery.โ
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to conceptualize, design, and execute action plans for complex issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Excellent team player with the ability to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a focus on effective documentation and presentation.
- Maturity and presence to effectively participate and contribute in meetings with senior government officials.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Sound knowledge of project planning, operations management, and IT transformation in the e-governance space.
- Familiarity with the Indian Government bureaucracy, food-based social protection programmes (TPDS, Anganwadi, School Meals) and emerging technologies like AI, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and IoT-based solutions will be an advantage.
LANGUAGE
Fluent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
