Under the overall supervision of the Senior SCM Assistant, the direct supervision of the Senior Logistics Assistant, the incumbent will provide support in the Facility Management Services functions in the Country Office in Greece.
- Provide reception services including answering calls, assisting visitors, and handling basic inquiries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours telephone operator services and ensure effective communication with relevant units.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the building premises through the camera monitoring system to ensure security and report any unusual activities and perform scheduled patrols to ensure the safety and security of the building and its surroundings.
- Provide immediate feedback on any security issues to the relevant team for prompt resolution.
- Oversee the general condition of the building, including common areas, storage spaces, and fixtures, to ensure they are clean, orderly, and functional.
- Report maintenance needs and other issues requiring attention to the Facility Management team, ensuring timely coordination with external contractors when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of any reported issues and actions taken, sharing updates with supervisors and relevant teams.
- Support mailing services and provide additional administrative support, as needed, to ensure smooth daily operations.
