The UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC) operates through its Istanbul Regional Hub and works in close collaboration with 18 Country Offices across Europe and Central Asia.

ContextUNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC) is organizing a survey enumerator training in Moldova between 26-27 July 2025. The event will be 2-day long and the information and guidance parts will be around 20-40 minutes long including topics like on survey design & protocol, enumeratorโ€™s conduct, general rules, survey instrument. On the first day the information and guidance will be provided within the 20-40 minutes sessions. On the second day 1-1 feedback (approx. duration 5 hours) and collective Q&A session will be held on group discussion - open questions, clarifications, discussions, challenges (approx. duration 5 hour). Online volunteers will support the two-day session by providing simultaneous English-Romanian interpretation for a series of online meetings. A 30-minute rotation among interpreters will ensure a smooth program flow.

Task DescriptionThe selected online volunteers will provide accurate and engaging simultaneous interpretation between English and Romanian languages during a 2-day online event about \"Survey on Socioeconomic vulnerabilities\" which is a training for enumerators Tasks: Translate the spoken content from English to Romanian maintaining the original meaning and context. During the questions and answers session, translation from Romanian to English might also be required.
