ContextUNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC) is organizing a survey enumerator training in Moldova between 26-27 July 2025. The event will be 2-day long and the information and guidance parts will be around 20-40 minutes long including topics like on survey design & protocol, enumeratorโs conduct, general rules, survey instrument. On the first day the information and guidance will be provided within the 20-40 minutes sessions. On the second day 1-1 feedback (approx. duration 5 hours) and collective Q&A session will be held on group discussion - open questions, clarifications, discussions, challenges (approx. duration 5 hour). Online volunteers will support the two-day session by providing simultaneous English-Romanian interpretation for a series of online meetings. A 30-minute rotation among interpreters will ensure a smooth program flow.
Task DescriptionThe selected online volunteers will provide accurate and engaging simultaneous interpretation between English and Romanian languages during a 2-day online event about \"Survey on Socioeconomic vulnerabilities\" which is a training for enumerators Tasks: Translate the spoken content from English to Romanian maintaining the original meaning and context. During the questions and answers session, translation from Romanian to English might also be required.
