The purpose of the Shelter Project Coordinator โ Basic Needs position is to implement delegated Shelter project portfolio, provide guidance to the day-to-day activities of the Shelter programme (helpdesks, reception area, ad-hoc distributions), and manage staff (NRC staff and IBVs) to ensure proper delivery, high quality results and compliance to applicable policies and procedures in both Azraq and Zaโatari camps.

Oversee and follow-up on helpdesks, reception area, and ad-hoc distribution activities as defined in detailed work plans, procurement plans, technical guidance, and M&E plans.Work closely with other team members to set and monitor objectives and work plans to ensure activities are implemented in accordance with overall project objectives andย as per financial and logistic procurement plan.Provide quality regular reports to the Project Manager on project implementation, status, identified issues and activities ensure regular monitoring of project implementation using developed tools.Provide guidance and constrictive feedback on regular basis to team members and manage the performance of relevant staff using NRCโs Performance Management system. Ensure proper capacity building for staff and IBVs is in place in coordination with the Project Manager.Supervise budget lines of relevant activities and monitor expenditure including the preparation, monitoring, and updating of financial spending plans as assigned by the Project Manager.In consultation with the Project Manager, manage relationship with stakeholders including donorsโ relations at field level for assigned activities.Represent NRC at camp coordination fora as delegated by the Project Manager. We are looking for a candidate with minimum 3 years of experience in implementing camps programming in emergency/early recovery contexts with a focus on Syrian refugee context. Experience in UNHCR and WFP programming is preferred.Experience in managing teams and incentive-based volunteers (IBVs) and maintaining a positive work environment. Experience in managing teams operating 24/7 is a plus.Extensive knowledge of Syrian refugee situation and stakeholders involved at a camp level.Strong reporting skills and ability to produce high quality numeric reports.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can build trust and confidently navigate both internally and externally at different levels.2.
