Senior Social Media Officer Consultant
Overview
CIFOR-ICRAF is seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Social Media Officer (consultancy) to join its Communications, Outreach, and Engagement (COE) team in Bogor, Indonesia. The Senior Social Media Officer will work under the supervision of the Global Social Media Coordinator and play a vital role in enhancing CIFOR-ICRAFโs online presence, engaging with key audiences, and supporting the organizationโs strategic communication goals.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Content Creation and Curation:
Guide the production of shareable digital content such as graphics, videos, infographics, and animations.
2. Community Engagement:
3. Campaign Planning and Execution:
Support paid marketing activities by assisting in the planning, execution, and tracking of sponsored posts and advertisements.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
Provide regular reports and insights to the Global Social Media Coordinator to inform data-driven strategies and content optimization.
5. Creative Strategy and Innovation:
Propose and implement creative approaches to enhance audience engagement, such as hashtag campaigns, contests, and interactive posts.
6. Visual and Multimedia Support:
Work with the design team to create visually compelling assets that align with brand guidelines and ensure consistency across platforms.

Perform any other duties as required by the COE team.
Education, knowledge and experience โข Bachelorโs degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
โข Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a nonprofit, research, or environmental organization.
โข Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
โข Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing.
โข Experience in paid social media campaigns is a plus.
