About your role: . WRI India seeks a motivated Project Associate to work on diverse projects in sustainable transportation domain. The ideal candidate should possess skills in ITMS project management, procurement, technical consultancy, and system integration. Candidates who have experience on one or more of the following areas โ Mobility as a Service, public transport policies, tendering process in Madhya Pradesh and, fare collection systems will be preferred. How your day will unfold: Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist team lead in preparing functional requirements for various ITMS modules like AVLS, AFCS, PIS, Mobile application, user interface, and MIS.
- Work closely with team members and collaborators within and outside WRI India on all aspects of project research, documentation, and administration.
- Engage with government and non-government partners to communicate about ongoing initiatives.
- Support and work on project-related presentations, case studies, commentaries, blogs and op-eds, reports, policy briefs, grant proposals, working papers and articles to share and disseminate findings and analysis with different stakeholders.
- Take charge of various technical aspects of project delivery, such as government interfacing, partner management, people engagement, project documentation, event management, etc.
- Conduct data exploration, quantitative research, and provide analytical solutions and insights to meet project outputs.
- Liaise with government partners, academic experts, industry professionals and other external partners to gather primary data, seek collaborations and undertake joint projects.Qualifications and Requirements we seek:
- Bachelorโs degree in engineering (Electronics and Communication or related field).
- 8 years of full-time work experience in one or more of the following areas โITMS, public transport city bus systems, Mobility-as-a-Service.
- Experience with ITMS modules including but not limited to AVLS, FCS, PIS, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale IT infrastructure deployments.
- Experience working with Government and private sector on public bus projects.
- Proven ability to manage RFP lifecycles, stakeholder consultations, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of policy analysis and data-oriented methodologies to identify gaps and potential areas of reform.
- Good writing and communication skills is a requirement.
- Experience in Mobility-as-a-Service related projects is desirable.Salary and Benefits: 14,00,000 to 18,00,000 INR CTC Per AnnumSalary shall be commensurate with experience and skills.
