As a workplace, weโ€™re committed to creating an environment for you to thrive both personally and professionally.

The TeamThe Communications Division leads the foundationโ€™s global communications strategyโ€”planning, developing, and executing efforts that inform and engage stakeholders, partners, policymakers, employees, and the broader public. Our goal is to advance the foundationโ€™s mission of a more equitable world by building trust, deepening understanding, and increasing visibility of the work and progress we support.

This role sits within the Brand, Editorial, and Content (BEC) team, which is responsible for shaping and expressing the foundationโ€™s brand. Your Role

The Senior Communications Officer โ€“ Content is a key member of the BEC team, reporting to the Interim Senior Manager of Story Development & Writing. Youโ€™ll work closely with colleagues across the Global Content & Campaigns (GC&C) teamโ€”as well as partners in regional offices, and the Program Advocacy and Communications (PAC) teamโ€”to shape and deliver high-impact content that supports the foundationโ€™s advocacy, brand, and storytelling goals. This includes digital campaigns, editorial features, social-first content, and experiences that inspire priority audiences and elevate the voices of changemakers around the world.

Your focus will be leading and commissioning content that performs across key platformsโ€”including Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, the foundationโ€™s website, and email/newsletter channels. Youโ€™ll collaborate with integrated campaign, channels, brand creative, policy & advocacy, and regional leads to translate complex topics into compelling visual and narrative content that resonates emotionally, performs on social platforms, builds issue salience, and drives audience engagement and action in support of our mission. This includes traveling to capture and develop content for the foundationโ€™s CEO or other Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members. Youโ€™ll guide content through each stage of developmentโ€”from ideation and pre-production to final delivery and publicationโ€”in close collaboration with colleagues across GC&C who bring expertise in channel strategies, audience engagement, measurement & insights, campaign planning, and project management to ensure alignment, consistency, and impact.

While digital storytelling is at the core of this role, it also includes planning and producing live activations such as panel events, screenings, campaign launches, and gatherings like Goalkeepers or anniversary celebrations. Whether content lives online or on stage, youโ€™ll play a central role in helping audiences connect with the foundationโ€™s mission and the people driving progress globally. This role also helps foster an inclusive creative processโ€”championing diverse voices and perspectives in every story we tell.
