The TeamEstablished in 2009, the Foundationโs Strategic Investment Fund (SIF) was created to advance the organizationโs philanthropic mission through the use of equity, debt, and guarantee investment tools. Since then, SIF has become a recognized leader in the impact investing space, completing more than 80 investments across a wide range of sectors and asset classes. SIF investments support the charitable objectives of the Foundationโs Program Strategy Teams (PSTs), which include technical experts from around the world. By partnering with entrepreneurs, companies, and other organizations, SIF structures investments that align private sector incentives with the Foundationโs programmatic goalsโdriving meaningful change for those who need it most. In return, investees commit to using the invested capital in ways that directly advance the Foundationโs strategies.
Your Role
As a Senior Coordinator for the SIF team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the alignment and execution of the teamโs strategies and operations. You will collaborate closely with various SIF team membersโincluding investment officers, program coordinators, deputy directors, and directorsโto strengthen coordination and integration across related initiatives. Your work will help foster collaboration across multiple Foundation program strategy teams. In this role, you will also engage with a wide range of internal and external partners, including other Foundation team members, strategic partners, and external collaborators, to support shared goals and ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
What Youโll Do
- Manage the day-to-day coordination of team activities, supporting workflows, routines, and operational rhythm to ensure smooth execution of responsibilities.
- Track and drive the timely completion of key deliverables; follow up on action items to maintain momentum across workstreams.
- Support portfolio-level deliverables by developing and monitoring progress, creating documents and communications, preparing presentations, and managing collaboration platforms such as SharePoint.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for events, complex meetings, and presentations, including scheduling, materials preparation and dissemination, facilitation support, note-taking, and post-event follow-up.
- Lead and support project planning and execution across multiple deliverables and workstreams, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.
- Serve as a communications liaison within project teams by developing presentations, maintaining portfolio-level information, and supporting the assessment of potential investment opportunities in collaboration with SIF team members and other Foundation partners.
- Foster cross-portfolio coordination by sharing information, identifying areas of overlap, and surfacing opportunities for alignment.
- Manage and prioritize tasks related to portfolio-level initiatives, effectively triaging requests and responding to dynamic needs.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture by modeling collaborative behaviors and surfacing challenges to appropriate partners in a timely manner.
Your Experience
- A Bachelorโs degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working directly with senior executive teams, investment committees, and/or other key partner groups on matters related to strategic planning, executive communication, project leadership, and administration. Preference will be given to those with eight (8) or more years of experience.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, utilize time precisely, communicate decisions and process to execution in a clear effective manner.
- Knowledge of how to best make decisions on behalf of leaders, speaking in the voice of, and to the key messages/vision/goals agreed upon by the leadership team.
- Understanding of how to identify team needs and opportunities and how to champion and resolve them.
- Experience leading and building relationships to gain the respect and trust of others.
- Experience adopting approach, goals, and methods to achieve solutions and results in dynamic situations, helping others deal with the ongoing demands of change.
- Advanced Teams and MS Office Suite skills with familiarity of some AI tools.
- Independent, Proactive, Responsive, Objective.
- Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
We recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in these locations is $50.14 to $75.24 USD hourly. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidateโs job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process.
