Staff members holding a regular, fixed-term or short-term graded contract will not retain their contract type if appointed to an ungraded position. ย Context ย Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision of the Programme Development and Support Officer, the successful candidate will support the Programme Development and Support Unit on preparing reports and project proposals for all projects of the Country Office (CO).
- Review, consolidate and analyze internal and implementing partnersโ narrative reports on programme implementation, as well as quantitative and qualitative data on indicators, to facilitate the preparation of progress and final donor reports in coordination with Programme and other relevant staff.
- Prepare periodic and activity-specific reports for donors, the CO, regional office(s), or headquarters, as may be required.
- Prepare draft charts, statistics and relevant information for reporting purposes.
- Support the development, harmonization, proper use and consistency of reporting tools and processes for Project Coordinators and implementing partners.
- Assist in the overall integration and coordination of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) project frameworks and resources in coordination with the Project Coordinators and M&E staff.ย
- Liaise with Programme staff to ensure close monitoring of program developments to achieve programโs compliance with donorโs Agreements and with respective project documents and support the programโs revision as needed.
- Research, write, formulate and present any documents necessary for project development, including project proposals and related documents, as well as other documents for donor liaison purposes.
- Support and assist in liaising with relevant authorities, United Nations agencies, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders for the purposes of project development and reporting/implementation.
- In cooperation with Programme staff, maintain a central filing system (soft and hard copies), including beneficiaries, project, implementing partners-related information, contracts and any other relevant information for the projects. The information has to be filed in an orderly and easily tracking manner, ensuring integrity of the documentation and appropriate backups.ย
- Utilize IOMโs internal systems for reporting and project development purposes in an efficient manner and with respect to internal and donor deadlines.ย
- Keep accurate and pertinent records of all correspondence, project development and reporting files and administration information, as needed.

- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Science, Business Administration, International Relations, Communications, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with minimum three years of relevant work experience; or,
- High school degree/certificate with minimum five years of relevant work experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- Proven capacity to produce high-quality reports in English;
- Experience in liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities as well as with internationalย
institutions; - Experience in preparation of statistical charts, tables and reports.ย Skills
