Under the direct supervision of theย Head of Sub-Office(Zarzis), the incumbent will assist IOM premises, refer visitors, and support clerical functions for the office.
- Welcome visitors and provide courteous reception, directing them as needed.ย
- Maintain a visitor log and assist visitors with security access procedures, when required.ย
- Answer and transfer calls, take messages, and provide routine information promptly and politely.ย
- Receive, direct, and record incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, courier, packages, etc.) following standard office procedures.ย
- Maintain basic reference materials for office-wide use, such as staff phone lists, office holidays, emergency contact numbers.
- Assist with logistical arrangements for meetings, events, and workshops, including invitations, transportation, and materials preparation.ย
- Provide general administrative support to various units as requested.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.ย Education
- High school diploma with two years of relevant experience; or,ย
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited academic institution.ย
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook.ย ย
- Ability to organize paperwork in a methodical way.ย ย
- Discreet, patient and client-oriented, with willingness to learn.ย ย
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.ย ย

- Basic communication skills, both verbal and written,
