ContextCommunities in Basra and southern Iraq are increasingly affected by extreme heat, dust storms, and water scarcity, leading to higher risks of respiratory illnesses, heat stress, and waterborne diseases. Many of these communities include migrants, refugees, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) whose living conditions increase their vulnerability. The upcoming campaign will translate the KAP findings into accessible, community-friendly messages shared across social media platforms by 200 Online Volunteers (OVs).
