Terms of ReferenceThe intern will work under the supervision of the Senior Staff Counsellor and will interact regularly with Peer Advisors, HR colleagues, the medical team in UNHCR’s Americas region and Global Psychosocial wellbeing team focusing on implementation and monitoring of health promotion and disease prevention initiatives. The intern will be expected to collaborate with other stakeholders on projects related to the wellbeing platform.

• Degree in Counselling, Organisational Psychology, Psychology, Social Work, Business Studies, Project Management or other related fields.
• Experience with data collection, statistical analysis, report writing and drafting reports and correspondence
• Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
Language Requirements:
• Knowledge of English and Spanish required. Knowledge of French and/or Portuguese would be an asset.

It is a full-time role with working hours starting from 8:00am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 12pm on Friday. The successful candidate will be assigned to support the team in Panama City.

Allowance: Interns who do not receive financial support from an outside party will receive an allowance to partially help to cover the cost of food, local transportation and living expenses
