- Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the Protection from Violence Project Coordinator position is to manage the daily coordination of ย Protection teams in Chisinau and Ocnita, the NRC Community Centres, and the office to carry out their activities and achieve their objectives in supporting refugee and host communities in Moldova. ย ย Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator guides the team, collaborates with external stakeholders, and ensures Protection from Violence standards are upheld throughout all implementation areas.

Specific responsibilitiesย
Lead daily, weekly, and monthly Protection team planning and operational coordination, including on support functions (on budgets and spending, recruitment, administrative liaison, grants reporting, monitoring and evaluation) Oversee and manage programme quality of Protection team activities in Moldova, including accountability to and effective engagement with affected people Ensure the NRC Community Centers in Chisinau and Ocnita are managed via updated staff schedules, SoPs, guidance tools, Community Center calendar, procurements, and any other actions pertaining to the efficient running of the Centres Support the Protection Monitoring Technical Officers in managing their role as referral focal points, and ensure all internal and external referrals are managed according to NRC policies Under the guidance of the Project Manager, lead the Community Centres activities and ensure they follow NRCโs social cohesion and community-led programmingย Contribute to risk management framework for programming in Moldova Field Office, and support in implementing risk mitigation measures Ensure Protection from Violence project activities are fully documented for financial, reporting, accountability, learning, monitoring and evaluation, and communication purposes. Undertake regular field visits to spot check and monitor staff activities and project progress and performance.
