A rewarding opportunity to join our team at NRC Ukraine. We are seeking a Ukrainian Protection from Violence Coordinator (Protection Case Management) who will be responsible to provide support on specific technical competencies related to program implementation.

Ensure that projects target individuals most in need of protection, explore and asses new and better ways to provide support.Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees and other conflict-affected people in line with the NRC advocacy strategy.Contribute with Protection from Violence specific technical competence to the development of Protection from Violence response guidelines, plans of action and projectsโ€™ design.Contribute with Protection from Violence specific technical competence to programme implementation, adjustment or review.Conduct Protection from Violence specific technical assessments and present recommendations.Conduct Protection from Violence specific technical research and document findings and recommendations.Ensure timely and effective implementation of a programmeโ€™s activities, equitable and appropriate allocation of tasks and responsibilities within the team, technical support and supervision of case workers, as well as transparent and accountable use of allocated financial resources.Provide Protection from Violence specific technical input to coordination mechanisms (e.g. working groups).Contribute to organisational learning through the provision of specific technical analysis, lessons learned and reports.Develop training modules and provide specific technical learning or/and training for project staff.Provide training to relevant stakeholders .4-5 years of relevant experience within the field of expertise.Technical-specific knowledge from the humanitarian sector.Experience in managing teams is desirable.Fluency in English, both written and verbal.University degree in social science, international law, or a related field.Field experience with case management, social or protection work (general protection case management preferred, GBV or Child Protection case management acceptable).Ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds, and develop strategies to address barriers faced by individuals most at risk of discrimination.Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.Experience working with case management databases.Good knowledge of data protection standards.Training in psychosocial support.Experience in conducting community outreach.Experience in coordination with external stakeholders, including local authorities, municipalities, and partner NGOs.
