ย Context
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office in Vilnius and direct supervision of the Head of Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the assistance in implementation of the relevant activities of the projects related to the response to Ukrainian crisis.ย
- Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of Ukraine Response activities.
- Draft status reports; provide timely feedback to the Programme Coordinator on the implementation of project activities; identify shortfalls in delivery and propose corrective actions.ย
- Provide inputs for Communication coordinator on human stories, website updates, produce related information materials.ย
- Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments as necessary. Assist in projectโs financial administration. Organize the filing system of the relevant project documentation.ย
- Maintain effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, donors and other stakeholders relevant to the project.
- Develop standard operation procedures for different CBI modalities and target groups.
- Provides on-line, phone and in-house consultations to the refugees from Ukraine (further beneficiaries) on IOM Lithuania activities.ย
- Closely works with beneficiaries, conduct PDM and assists in preparation of PDM reports.ย
- Assists in organisation of webinars, activities and community events for beneficiaries on relevant topics of inclusion.ย
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
ย Education- School diploma with five years of relevant experience; or,ย
- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with three years of professional experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups is an asset.
- Experience in project implementation.
- Experience in humanitarian assistance.
- Knowledge of main migration issues in Lithuania and current situation in the EU.
- Prior work or volunteering experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
- Experience of the work with EU funded projects โ preparation, implementation, monitoring, reporting is an asset.
