IOM is a major actor in post-conflict recovery and reconstruction, and as such is heavily involved in livelihoods development and job creation programmes. IOMโs strengths lie in its field presence around the country and operational capacity to rebuild community infrastructure, conduct vocational and other trainings, providing grant funding at local level to support business development and a variety of other areas key to recovery.
Under the general guidance of the Chief of Mission (CoM), and the overall supervision of the Head of Transition and Recovery Division (TRD) and the Livelihoods Project Officer, for Economic Recovery and Livelihoods; and the direct supervision of the Senior Livelihoods Project Assistant. the incumbent will be responsible for assisting programmes related to Livelihoods, and in particular the Enterprise Development Fund (EDF), under the area of responsibility as below:
- Work closely with the livelihoods regional advisors, admin, logistics, and support units to ensure TRD beneficiary payments are on track, followed up on, and properly documented. In coordination with the Cash-Based Assistance unit to submit required documents in line with operational teams.

- Support regional advisors with uploading approved business plans, update the status of longlisting/shortlisting processes, assign RCT flags, and perform quality checks on milestone verification reports to ensure accuracy and compliance in IMS system.

- Respond to EDF feedback emails promptly and effectively to address inquiries and ensure clear communication channels.

- Act as the focal person for the Documentation of the Enterprise development Fund (EDF) beneficiaries, ensure that all required documents are submitted on time and are filled in The IMS system.
- Identify and resolve data issues, including duplicate business entries and left-behind businesses in the IMS, to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
- Request WBS and create purchase requests-PRs for all the activities under the Livelihoods unit by working closely with the TRD admin unit.ย
- Assist the livelihoods technical team in initiating travel requests, transportation, and etc. Additionally, plan and organize events, trainings, and workshops under the livelihoods unit, ensuring all logistical requirements are met in close collaboration with the TRD admin unit.
- Collect and share feedback on livelihoods tools with the TRD IMS team, keep staff updated on new tool versions, and submit regular progress reports on EDF tools and activities.
- Travel to project sites to monitor payments disbursements and to follow up with the activities under livelihoods portfolio when needed.

Education- Bachelorโs Degree or higher University Degree preferably in the in Administration Management, finance, Social Sciences or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with three years of relevant professional experience; orย
- Completed High School degree from accredited academic institution with five years relevant professional experience.ย

- Experience working in an international environment and in liaising with a variety of partners at all levels of the hierarchy.ย
- Demonstrated proficiency with Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, word as well as good knowledge working with databases and online applications.
