Work LocationGeneva Expected duration6 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe internship is located in the Office of the Secretariat of the UN Secretary-Generalโs Special Envoy for Road Safety (Special Envoy), and at United Nations Road Safety Fund (UNRSF), United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Geneva. Under the supervision of the Head of the UN Road Safety Fund and the Secretariat of UN SDG's Special Envoy for Road Safety, the incumbent is expected to contribute to the work of the Secretariat as follows: โข Undertake research to support identification of potential partners and to inform activities of the Special Envoy; โข Draft articles, briefing notes and other outreach communications to help raise visibility of the global road safety crisis; โข Undertake research on initiatives that illustrate the nexus between road safety and other SDGs; โข Support the events and activities planned for the Special Envoy; โข Undertakes research, draft statements and prepare for and/or participate in meetings that relates to the UN Road Safety Fund โข Perform other duties as requested.
