FHI 360โ€™s Global Connections (GC) department is a leader in designing innovative international exchanges that promote leadership, professional development, academic opportunities and global collaboration for students and emerging leaders around the world. The English Access Program (Access) builds English language capacity globally, delivering U.S. English education expertise, to strengthen mutual understanding, support key economic sector workforce development and create economic and educational opportunity. Approximately 200,000 youth and 7,500 teachers in more than 85 countries have gained English language skills since Accessโ€™ start in 2004. Through classroom instruction and activities, teacher training and short-term exchanges in the United States and a vibrant online English language community, Access participants are better prepared to thrive in their home countries, with a deeper understanding of and stronger connections to Americans and the United States.

Job Summary:

The Program Officer II is a member of the Access Teacher Engagement Team reporting to the Project Manager and supports U.S.-based exchange programs. This position also provides opportunities for cross-team collaboration and support with other sub-teams on the Access Program. Please note, we anticipate being able to fund this position for a year, and future employment will be contingent on continued funding.
