What we are looking for

NRC is looking for a Partnership and Capacity Building Manager to join the Iran mission. The role holder willย play a pivotal role in leading the EU INTPA CSO grants and the partnership strategy, contributing to engagement in relevant partnership coordination efforts and fostering relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

The Partnership and Capacity Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of project implementation agreements, monitoring adherence to NRC's guidelines, contributing to safe and inclusive programming, and capacity building to enhance NRC's partnership approach.

What you will do

Partnership Strategy (contextualising the framework that clarifies the different nature of relationships and types of actors; developing and improving partnership standard operating procedures and tools; identifying and assessing civil society organisations; and building a network of key partners and stakeholders). Partnership Unit Management (leading a structured approach to partnerships; contributing to meetings and engagements with relevant actors; resolution of conflicts; and providing coaching and mentoring). Project Implementation Agreement Management (ensuring donor requirements/procedures are reflected in the PIAs and modification requests; negotiating new projects and programs with partners; drafting partnership agreements and/or contractual documents; mainstreaming NRC ways of working across operational partners; and provision of technical support to partners. Capacity Sharing (assessing capacity development needs; developing a capacity building action plan; ensuring smooth implementation of partnership agreements and foster partners' overall development; integrating partner feedback, suggestions, and complaints into NRC programs; leading partner evaluation and learning events; facilitating peer-to-peer learning among relevant internal staff and partners). What you will bring

Senior managementย experience in a humanitarian/recovery context. Partnership or grants managementย expertise. Capacity building and training delivery background.ย  Complex, and volatile context exposure. Iran contextย exposure and knowledge. Englishย fluency, both written and verbal.

NRC started operations in Iran in 2012, and currently delivers humanitarian assistance in the sectors of Education, Food Security and Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Shelter and Settlements, as well as Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance. Tehran, Iranย duty station.ย  12-month contract duration. 50% travel, approximately. Grade 9 in NRCโ€™s Salary Scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
