UNDP CO seeks a dedicated professional to provide day-to-day support and ensure cleanliness of the CO premises.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Administrative Associate, the Office Cleaner/Helper provides sanitary services and reliable office support services.

Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

Provides efficient disinfection and cleaning services

Keep the offices, kitchen, corridors, toilets, and meeting venues and the office environment clean at all times; Ensure hygienic standard of sanitary facilities by regular cleaning and disnifection; Keep office roomsโ€™ floors, surfaces, furniture, walls, doors, windows, carpets clean and hygienic; Replace supplies (toilet rolls, soaps, washing liquid, paper towels, disinfecting liquid etc.) in toilets, corridors and kitchenย  when required; Report on the stock status of cleaning supplies (toilet rolls, soaps, washing liquid etc.); Maintain Support with filing/rearrangement of documents, files and stationary; Provide office hospitality in the presence of guests; Perform other duties as required.

Provides efficient helper/messenger services focusing on achievement of the following results.

Receiving, sorting, delivery and pick up of mail from various offices on the premises at regular intervals.ย Maintenance of records as required; Packing of materials received for dispatch; labeling, inserting materials in envelopes and dispatching mail; Keeping records of meeting rooms bookings; Welcoming visitors, checking on observance of sanitary measures, as required, advising on meeting location,ย  recording visitors details, if required; Ensuring that tea, water and refreshments are served during official meetings as requested; keeping stock of such supplies; Support in the loading, unloading and movement of furniture, equipment and/orย  office supplies; Perform variety of unskilled tasks as helper.

The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.

Skills and Experience

Secondary education is required.ย  Min. years of relevant work experienceย  Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable. Requiredย  skillsย  Experience within an international organization is preferred. Desired skills in addition to the competencies covered in the Competencies section Experience in providing supportย ย with filing/rearrangement of ย documents, files and stationary is desired.
