Your team
Within the Network Management Directorate, the Network Manager Operations Centre (NMOC) optimises traffic flows by constantly balancing capacity supply and demand while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of flights going to and over Europe.
The Network Specialist (N1: (Operating) Specialist) within NMOC is a key function which provides the flexibility to operate NMโs operational systems either in Flow Management, Flight Planning or in Airspace Data operations.
In particular the Network Specialist in Flow Management (Network Operations Controller) optimise the available airspace capacity and its use for aircraft operators taking into account the restrictions and limitations of the Network while respecting and promoting good safety practices.
The role may evolve with the introduction of the new system, iNM, requiring adaptability and resilience.Your role
Your role will be to :
- Coordinate effectively with the FMPs in order to negotiate the best possible tactical solution including negotiating improved capacity, applying regulations where necessary and proposing and implementing re-routing scenarios.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
Relevant studies or professional training to carry out the advertised tasks. Minimum 5 years in a relevant ATS unit holding a valid ATCO rating/license for minimum 3 years. Experience with NMOC softwares and systems. Experience in NMOC processes and procedures. This job requires physical skills and is subject to an internal vocational training which will lead to the awarding of a certification. This certification is subject to periodical validation.
