Work LocationHome-based in Jordan Expected duration20.01.26 - 19.01.27 Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Women Exporters in the Digital Economy (WEIDE) Fund aims to empower women-led businesses through trade, digitalization, and access to finance. The Fund will support women entrepreneurs under two main tracks:  Discovery Track: Targeting early-stage exporters to build foundational skills and digital presence.  Booster Track: Targeting more advanced businesses to accelerate digital and export readiness. Support will be delivered through: • Technical assistance and training in digital, financial, and export skills. • Access to grants and affordable financial resources. • Linkages to digital export markets. • Access to inclusive networks and support services. To achieve this, the programme will pursue two outcome objectives: One related to the enterprise level and one to the level of the sector ecosystem, including important changes at Business Support Organization (BSO) and policy level, namely: • Increased competitiveness of T&C enterprises through sustainable trade • More effective ecosystem able to direct the T&C sector towards systemic change, addressing sustainability and circularity. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES ITC is recruiting local consultants to deliver technical assistance, training, and business advisory services to women-led businesses (WLBs) participating in the Discovery and Booster track. Training of Trainers Programme: • Attend in person launch event • Participate in a train the trainer programme (3 courses over 9-12 months) • Conduct group training and 1-1 coaching with Women Led Businesses to build financial and digital literacy of participating businesses. • Perform diagnostics to assess digital, financial maturity and export readiness of participating businesses. The assignment will be performance-based, with payments made upon satisfactory delivery of set outputs. The consultant(s) will report to the WEIDE Fund Program Management and work closely with implementation partners and other stakeholders. Copyright Clause: The consultant has to ensure that she has obtained the necessary permissions with regard to intellectual property rights required to perform her services under this consultancy contract and for the subsequent dissemination by ITC in any form. Documentary proof is to be submitted to ITC. Should any license fee be due for the use of copyrighted materials of third parties, the consultant shall request the prior written permission from ITC. Qualifications/special skillsUndergraduate degree (BA/BSc or other) Business Administration, Economics, International relations or other related Social Sciences. Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree. At least 3 years of experience supporting small business development, with digital or finance skills. Skills: • Business Consulting Expertise: Ability to assess business needs, provide strategic recommendations, and support companies in optimizing their digital and financial operations. • E-commerce & Online Sales: Expertise in digital sales channels, online business models • Finance: Expertise in financial management, business management • A plus: • E-commerce Platforms Expertise: Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) to enhance online business performance. • Digital Marketing Expertise: Knowledge of digital marketing channels (e.g. SEO, Google Ads, Social Media Marketing) to drive traffic and sales. • Access to finance: experience in successfully facilitating and securing commercial finance for small and medium-sized enterprises. • Project Management: Experience in planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals. • Knowledge of SME financing landscape, available facilities, instruments and SME lending requirements. • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and metrics to inform business decisions and optimize digital strategies and financial models. • Training and capacity building: Experience in training and coaching of business founders across a variety on capacity needs. • Cross-Border E-commerce: Understanding of global markets, logistics, payment processing, and regulatory considerations for international sales.
