GGGI has a unique in-country presence and prominent role as a neutral, trusted advisor and strategic development partner embedded in Member and partner governments. This special arrangement or positioning sets GGGI apart from other international development and environmental development partners that collectively serve the green growth agenda.

Since 2013, GGGI has been working with the Government of Colombia to advance green growth policies and green investments, through strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Treasury and Public Credit,the National Planning Department, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and subnational institutions. GGGI Colombia has grown significantly over the past few years and has transformed into a portfolio-based country program, with programs and projects of varied sizes covering various GGGI Programmatic Solutions, including Sustainable Forests, Solar PV, Climate Resilient Agriculture, Climate Action, and Green Investments.

GGGI is seeking a MEL Senior Associate to support the Andean subregion through solid, systematic monitoring and timely reporting. The role will be guided by the corporate results framework, the programโ€™s logical framework, and the country programโ€™s impact pathway to ensure the high-quality delivery of Country Programs.

POSITION SUMMARY

The MEL Associate will support quality results-based management (RBM) within the Andean Subregion by operationalizing GGGIโ€™s MEL framework. Reporting to the Andean Representative with a dual technical reporting line to the Regional MEL Senior Officer, the position will work closely with the Andean project teams and other MEL personnel in the LAC Regional Office and HQ.

The position contributes to GGGI's mission by supporting the Andean Countriesโ€™ delivery on its MEL commitments.

PURPOSE

To โ€œdeliver on GGGIโ€™s MEL commitments,โ€ tasks of the position will be highly technical, with an expectation to be responsible for related administrative and operational duties.
