IOM Ireland has been operating in Ireland since 2001, currently in following areas of migration management: Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration, Resettlement, Family Reunification, Counter-Trafficking, Protection, Integration Support to Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection, Integrated Immigration Governance and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS).ย
IOM provides mental health and psychosocial support to international protection seekers residing in the Citywest accommodation facility with the aim to improve their psychosocial well-being and to strengthen their overall resilience.ย
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in Ireland and the direct supervision of the Head of MHPSS Unit, the incumbent will support the monitoring and evaluation requirements of the MHPSS project, which provides services to International Protection seekers in Ireland. This role also contributes to the broader Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities of the Mission.
- Support development and implementation of monitoring frameworks for existing and future MHPSS projects assisting international protection seekers in Ireland.
- Assist in reviewing project SOPs and contribute to project development in line with IOMโs institutional guidelines. Analyze donor reporting requirements to support accurate data collection.
- Compile, summarize and present the necessary information for the team and for internal and external reports for IOM, donors and other stakeholders.
- Draft status reports to support effective implementation of the project.
- Support the administrative requirements of the project, coordinating closely with the regional teams to assist in day-to-day activities and operations according to project SOPs.
- Support the wider Mission with M&E activities of existing projects and provide input into project development where required.
- Maintain confidentiality of all project-related matters in accordance with guidelines. Support measures to mitigate fraud or misuse of project resources and help monitor the integrity of records containing individual data.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned. Education
- High school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience; or,
- Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar fields from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience. - Experience supporting monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality while performing responsibilities.
- Strong work ethic, ability to follow procedures clearly, and to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Previous work experience in an international organization, non-governmental organisation would be an advantage. Skills

- For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).
- Working knowledge of any UN languages an advantage IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
