  1. Under the guidance of the Program Support Officer, conduct regular qualitative monitoring assessments in coordination with Program Managers and with the support of IOMโ€™s Third-Party Monitor.
  2. Manage IOMโ€™s Third-Party Monitor through continuous engagement, the review of deliverables, capacity building and facilitating cooperation with program and field staff.
  3. Conduct field monitoring of program activities at the project sites in close coordination with programme teams, according to the program goals and objectives for all sectors.
  4. Liaise with sector focal points on a regular basis to keep track of project implementation and develop MEAL plan based on implementation of program activities.
  5. Assist in preparing tools for field monitoring and conduct regular field missions to gather data
  6. Support in data cleaning, analysis and drafting of M&E reports, circulating reports, analysis, and findings to relevant project managers
  7. Advise units with the preparation of donor reports, including to ensure compliance with key programme indicators and objectives.
  8. Review and streamline data collection, analysis and management processes in the mission, including through direct support for the development of program specific IM systems and the management and continuous improvements of the missionโ€™s online database.
  9. Perform such other duties as may be assigned. Education
    • University Degree from an accredited academic institution in Social Science/Public Relation/Economics/Development Studies/ International Relations or other relevant disciplines with four years of relevant professional experience, or
    • High School diploma with six years of relevant professional experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in theย UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย  Experience
      • Experience in collecting data through both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
      • Operational experience in the field in IDP/refugee and migration related issues, including technical cooperation, project development and project/programme implementation and evaluation.ย 
      • Proven experience with M&E methods and approaches, planning and implementation of M&E systems, information/data collection, entry, analysis and report writingย 
      • Familiarity with humanitarian assistance programming an advantage.ย 
      • Previous experience working in an international organization and knowledge of the UN is essential;
      • Previous work in relevant issues such as migration, displacement, livelihoods, humanitarian assistance
      • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.ย  Skills
        • Expert data handling skills (classification, categorizing, tabulation etc.) and demonstrates diligence in data management.
        • Must be proficient with MS Office and Excel.
        • Organization, planning, and time management skills.
        • Information dissemination skills is required.
        • Good working knowledge of statistical packages is required.
        • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Languages

          For this position, fluency in English and Arabic is required (oral and written).ย
