Job Description
Are you a Data Scientist interested in deploying your skills in machine learning algorithms? How about working with:
• Machine learning experiments using programming languages like Python along with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn;
• Writing and implementing SOTA machine learning algorithms;
• Developing federated learning software and algorithms;
• Implementing differential privacy and homomorphic encryption;
• Ensuring efficient data flow between databases and backend systems to support machine learning initiatives, using tools like Apache Spark;
• Analyzing data to identify new use cases and derive actionable insights, employing statistical analysis, visualization for exploratory data analysis (EDA);
• Developing solutions for anomaly detection and predictive maintenance.

Who we are looking for
Expert knowledge of Python programming language, common deep learning frameworks, and machine learning algorithms, including federated learning tools and algorithms.Familiarity with anomaly detection and remaining useful life algorithms.Knowledge of how linear particle accelerate the radiotherapy would be an advantage.Fluent in English, the ability to work in French would be an advantage.Eligibility criteria:
You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.You have a professional background in IT, Date Science (or a related field) and have either: a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.Additional Information
