The purpose of the position is to support the implementation of all NRC Programs in the North-West. The Logistics Assistant will assist in the day to day implementation of the logistic functions responsibilities. He/she will work under the supervision of the Field Office Coordinator, who will provide him/her full support in the implementation of all relevant activities.
A - Generic Responsibilitiesย
Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelinesImplement delegated support function portfolio according to the plan of actionPrepare and develop status reports as required by managementEnsure proper filing of documentsย Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support functionB - Specific Responsibilitiesย
Ensure that vehicles are used and maintained according to Logistics Handbook and other NRC policiesEnsure all drivers adhere to NRC logistics and driverโs proceduresCompile and submit monthly vehicle utilization and carpool reportsEnsure NRC fleet is utilized and optimised accordingly.Prepare requisitions for spare parts for vehicles & GeneratorsCoordinate and facilitate timely reporting of eventualities like accidents and breakdownsSecure that NRC vehicles are equipped with necessary documents and equipmentEnsure all drivers fill movement logbook and that logbook is signed by the passengers.ย Responsible for the receipt, storage and dispatch of all assets an items from yaounde Office ensuring that proper documentation is maintained for same.Ensure that assets are tagged before being dispatched to the field.To also ensure asset movement is tracked in the Asset RegisterAssist the Logistics Officer with Physical Asset Counts and documents as may be required.Ensure that all vehicle records and reports including logbooks, accident report etc. are filled appropriately.ย Keep log of the generators and ensure that fuel consumption is monitored and recorded appropriatelyย Filling of all maintenance, vehicle log books, insurance documents, fuel report in office 365C - Generic professional competencies:
