The Project Officer will support the day-to-day implementation of livelihoods activities for Syrian refugees in Azraq camp under supervision of the Livelihoods Project Manager. The Project Officer will support the day-to-day implementation of activities according to work plans and support project incentive-based volunteers (IBVs) in line with programme objectives.ย

Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.Implement delegated CC project portfolio according to plan of action.Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.Ensure proper filing of documents.Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need and explore and asses new and better ways to assist.Specific responsibilities
Planning, coordination, and implementation of program activities including community outreach activities and livelihoods assessments according to work-plans and strategy.Provide regular report and immediately report any challenges or implementation delays to the Livelihoods Manager.ย Monitor, supervise, and provide directions to incentive-based teachers and volunteers in line with project work-plans and objectives including weekly task/plans.Prepare training materials and coordinate with stakeholders through outreach activities on income generating activities in coordination with Livelihoods PM and Livelihoods Specialist.ย Ensure direct communication and feedback with beneficiaries and relevant host communities including internal and external referrals, dissemination of NRC CFM as well as report beneficiariesโ feedback.Maintain clear and up to date records of beneficiaries and activities (beneficiary numbers, locations, contact details, activity progress)ยCritical interfaces
