Your team
Within the Directorate of People, Rules, Regulations & Social Dialogue (RSD) establishes, develops and maintains HR policies, staff regulations and employment conditions provisions, and advises on compliance with legal aspects of HRS policies in all administrative areas. It also prepares, supports and executes the Social Dialogue and Consultation process.
The legal assistant provides support in and contribute to legal matters, drafts and reviews of legal texts, working papers, etc. and provide advice and support in handling various service matters, while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations. The Legal Assistant ensures the meticulous organisation and planning of legal and administrative processes, maintaining rigorous attention to detail and proactively managing deadlines, priorities, and procedural steps to support the smooth functioning of the service.
Your role
Your role will be to:
- Contribute to the drafting and review of legal texts, working papers, etc. and ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Required qualifications, experience & competencies
University degree in law of 3 years and minimum 4 year relevant professional experience or university degree in law of minimum 4 years and minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience or knowledge of employment conditions gained in a public international organisation or a law firm. Experience in conducting legal research. Experience in organising statutory committees and Social Dialogue meetings would be considered an asset. Technical drafting skills. Planning and organising: you know how to plan ahead and adapt as required. Analytical thinking: you analyse information and identify critical relationships.
