ITS Vice Presidency Context:
The Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU) enables the World Bank Group to achieve its mission of ending extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity on a livable planet by delivering transformative information and technologies to its staff working in over 150+ locations.ย
Our vision is to transform how the Bank Group accomplishes its mission through information and technology. In this fast-paced, ever-changing world, the formulation and implementation of the ITS strategy is an ongoing, iterative process of learning and adaptation developed through extensive consultations with business partners throughout the World Bank Group.

WBG Finance (ITSFI) is responsible for providing high quality, streamlined information and technology solutions for the World Bankโs Financial & HR services, which include Human Resources, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Controls, Treasury, Loans, Accounting, and Concessional finance (handling donor contributions from inception to the point of final disbursement, including IDA, Financial Intermediary Funds and Trust Funds). ITSFI is additionally responsible for building its IT services using a shared platform that provides scale, leverage, reliability, and control while at the same time improving responsiveness to emerging business needs. The ITSFI team is accountable for the implementation of the ITS Strategy supporting WBG core finance business processes.
As a unit within the ITSFI department, ITSFT unit enables key functions of the WBG Finance and Accounting vice-presidency and its corporate partners such as financial management, payments and disbursements, new lending product deployment, financial accounting, institutional analytics, and external reporting. The unit also operates and evolves WBG ERP and the external client digital banking platform and supports WFA financial technology innovation.

Strategic Context
Investments in the Corporate Finance and Accounting Domain will enable the scale-up of WBG operations by integrating key outcomes from the Aria, Libra, and blockchain initiatives. These investments will support the Evolution Roadmap priorities by enhancing operational efficiency by simplifying business processes to enable more efficient use of funds and improving financial controls. The World Bank Group's Finance ERP modernization project will enhance financial management capabilities, reduce operational risk, and increase agility. Project Libra will modernize the Bank's loan ecosystem, streamline and automate loan processes, and incorporate innovations such as AI, OCR, and Blockchain, ensuring greater flexibility, scalability, and adaptability. Adopting blockchain technology will optimize and digitize end-to-end business processes, providing full traceability, immutable audit trails, and efficient data management. Job Description
ITSFT is seeking an experienced and motivated SAP Integration specialist with experience in design, and the development of end-to-end financial integration scenarios with various SAP and Non-SAP systems. The selected candidate will support and maintain the SAP system with specialization in Interfacing and Workflow applications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
โข Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective business systems solutions.
โข Design and develop interfaces within the SAP PI/PO/BTP IS environment to meet business needs efficiently and effectively.
โข Prepare detailed technical documentation, including technical specifications and flowcharts illustrating program processing logic.
โข Plan, design, and lead comprehensive testing efforts, including the development of test cases and the execution of unit, system, stress, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure all requirements are met.
โข Identify, evaluate, and resolve errors in production business system applications to maintain operational continuity.
โข Organize and maintain information and documentation systematically, ensuring compliance with the Bankโs information security and audit requirements.

Education and Experience

โข Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in SAP integration, including at least 7 years with SAP NetWeaver XI/PI/PO and 2 years with SAP BTP Integration Suite.
SAP Integration Expertise
โข Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP Process Orchestration (PO), Process Integration (PI), and Business Technology Platform Integration Suite (BTP IS), covering both synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
โข Demonstrated experience in SAP PO to SAP BTP Integration Suite migration projects, including assessment, planning, and adaptation of interfaces to cloud-based platforms.
โข Deep understanding of SAP PO/PI/BTP IS architecture, including system landscape, deployment options, high availability, and hybrid (on-premises/cloud) integration scenarios.
Technical Skills
โข Proficient in business process modeling and implementation using SAP NetWeaver Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rules Management (BRM).
โข Hands-on expertise with a wide range of SAP adapters (File/FTP/SFTP, SOAP/REST, IDoc, RFC, Proxy, JDBC, Mail, JMS, AS2/EDI) for B2B and system integration.
