The role of the ICLA Information Management officer is to support the ICLA programme in ensuring quality service by outputs and outcome monitoring through the development and maintenance of an up-to-date ICLA database.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
Provideย generalย administrativeย andย operationalย supportto theย ICLAย programme. Receive information from ICLA Officers with the consequent entry of the data into the Excelย Database Ensure regular monitoring and check-up of the entered data with actual Beneficiary Intakeย Forms Ensureย properย filingย andย archivingย ofย theย Beneficiaryย Intakeย Forms Ensure that Database applications, data storage and regular backups are configured andย maintained Implementย andย updateย aย dataย disasterrecoveryย planย (backup) Ensureย installationย andย maintenanceย ofย protectionย services(anti-viruses andย firewalls) Trainย andย developย new ICLA staffย inย relationย to the useย ofย theย Database Ensureย properย maintenanceย ofย theย ICLAย projectย inventory Superviseย programmeย filesย andย archive. Prepareย M&Eย reports forย GORSย andย donors Submit regularย activityreportsย toย ICLA PM. ย ย ย ยKey Education and Skills Requirements:
Degree in Computer science or relevant subject, and 3+ years of related working experience Experience working as a Database Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context. Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts. Fluency in Bangla and English languages Responsibility, independence, attentiveness, ability to handle stress, diligence VBA experience and experience with GPS & GIS software is a plus, MySQL, JavaScript, and PHP are a plus. Suite CRM/Sugar CRM experience is a plus, Solid background in Excel skills, V-lookups, pivot tables and Access skills experienced with mail systems (MS Exchange 2010) and web servers (IIS, Apache) is a plus.
