The Group Cash Transfer (GCT) Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and coordination of Group Cash Transfer programs under the guidance of the GCT Manager. This position will involve close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of cash transfer initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to humanitarian principles.
Generic Responsibilities:
Support the GCT Manager in the management and coordination of Group Cash Transfer programs across designated areas. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and donor requirements in all aspects of program implementation. Assist in the development of strategies and projects related to Cash and Markets, with a focus on Group Cash Transfer initiatives. Assist in the coordination of project activities, including budget management, documentation, and reporting, in alignment with proposals and donor guidelines. Support the implementation of technical direction to maintain high-quality standards in program delivery. Contribute to the identification of beneficiaries in need and explore innovative approaches to address their requirements effectively. Participate in capacity-building initiatives for project staff and stakeholders to enhance skills and knowledge related to Group Cash Transfers. Collaborate with colleagues to promote awareness and understanding of Group Cash Transfer programs within the organization. Assist in ensuring the overall quality and effectiveness of Cash and Markets programming within the response. Contribute to networking and representation efforts at the strategic level, fostering relationships with relevant stakeholders. Support engagement and scoping activities related to Financial Service Providers (FSPs) in collaboration with the Cash and Markets Coordinator. Contribute to workforce planning efforts, including recruitment activities, to strengthen Cash and Markets capacities within the organization. Assist in establishing and maintaining technical reporting lines and liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders. Uphold advocacy strategies to promote the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees in line with organizational objectives.Specific Responsibilities:
