The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Tuberculosis Private Sector (TBPS) activity (2019-2025) supports the Government of Indonesiaโs (GOIโs) goal of tuberculosis (TB) elimination by 2030. Led by FHI 360, TBPS supports private sector health providers to increase case detection, enhance access to state-of-the-art diagnostics and medicines, increase TB case notification from the private sector and promote public-sector stewardship for sustained response and commitments to achieve a TB-free Indonesia. The goal of TBPS is to increase the number of care-seeking clients in the private sector who are correctly diagnosed and notified and successfully complete TB treatment.
The project is seeking 1 position of Graphic Designer to work in close collaboration on this project and will be based in Jakarta.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Communication and Knowledge Management (CKM) Specialist, the Communications Officer will be a key member of communication and knowledge management team. The Communication Officer with a specialty in Graphic Design will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing visual content across various platforms. This role requires a creative professional who can combine strong graphic design skills with strategic communication to effectively convey our projectโs message. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling materials that support our communication strategies.
Accountabilities:
- Support CKM Specialist to implement an effective communications strategy based on USAID TBPSโs strategy.
- Develop and design high-quality visual content, including infographics, social media graphics, presentations, brochures/flyer, and other communication materials.
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Collaborate with technical team to create visual content that supports TBPS activity.
- Work closely with the communications team to develop content strategies that integrate visual elements to enhance message delivery.
- Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including video production, photography, and digital media.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for campaigns and content.
- Maintain and update brand assets, including logos, templates, and other design elements.
- Ensure consistency in the use of branding across all communication channels and materials.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay within budget.
- Coordinate with external vendors, such as printers and designers, as needed.
- Provide design support for internal and external events, including signage, promotional materials, and digital assets.
- Support the management of social media accounts by providing visually engaging content and graphics.
- Monitor social media trends and best practices to optimize content performance and audience engagement.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of visual content and adjust strategies as needed to improve engagement and reach.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in graphic design and communications, preferably in a corporate or non-profit setting. Experience in USAID branding guideline will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital and print materials.
- Experience in creating and managing visual content for social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia, proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
