Support country office start-upย
Support first phase education response in existing country officesย
Gap filling, ANDย
Providing in-country support with the design, reaching results and capacity development components of education programming ย
The postholder may also fill the role of Education Programme Development Manager at country office level.ย
The purpose of the Education Specialist position is technical development of Education, strategic direction and quality assurance, develop Education strategy and quality control at country level. This includes mentoring, training and capacity building of staff on Education technical capacity.ย

ย What you will bringย
Minimum 4 years of experience within education in a humanitarian/recovery contextย Education expertiseย Experience in drafting and encouraging implementation of policy/strategic guidance, and developing practical tools and resourcesย Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts ย Documented results related to the positionโs responsibilitiesย Language: Proficient inย English and French. Spanish would be an asset.ย What we offerย
