A- General Responsibilities
โข ย ย ย ย Support the CHINGO Forum Manager in the development of tools for the collection and analysis of data.ย
โข ย ย ย ย Responsible for data management and optimization of processing and requests;
โข ย ย ย ย Responsible for the technical evolution of systems and their development tools;ย
โข ย ย ย ย Responsible for pilot projects using databases and/or new technologies.
B- Specific Responsibilities
โข ย ย ย ย Contribute to the improvement of the existing archiving system for the various activities and components of the project and its handling;
โข ย ย ย ย Provide training and technical assistance in the field related to information/data management;ย
โข ย ย ย ย Ensure the monitoring and updating of the project database;ย
โข ย ย ย ย To be the information focal point for CHINGO;
โข ย ย ย ย Responsible for GORS RRM reporting in the North Area.

A-ย General Professional Skills
โข ย ย ย ย Have a Bachelor's degree in Information management, Social Science, or other relevant fields, preferably a Bac+3 ;
โข ย ย ย ย Proficiency in database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, Sybase or SQL Server as well as query and programming languages;
โข ย ย ย ย Mastery of communication tools and new technologies;
โข ย ย ย ย Multidisciplinary, flexible person;
B- Context-specific skills, knowledge and experienceย
โข ย ย ย ย The incumbent expresses himself or herself clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing (English, French);
โข ย ย ย ย He/she has a spirit of synthesis and good research skills;
โข ย ย ย ย He/she listens to others, strives to understand them well and knows how to react appropriately;
โข ย ย ย ย He/she does not hesitate to ask for clarifications and is open to dialogue.

We offer:
- 12-month work contract renewable subject to availability of funds.
- Workplace: Yaoundรฉ with 20% travel in the field.
- Salary/Benefits: Grade 5 step 1 of the NRC Cameroon salary scale.
- Desired start date: March 2025
