1- Role and responsibilities

Generic responsibilities (max 10)

Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.Implement delegated support function portfolio according to plan of action.Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.Ensure proper filing of documents.Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function.Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.Reports to the line manager regarding respective cash flows and payments in the camps.Reconciling cash boxes, teachers & labor payments.

Specific responsibilities

Ensure filing of all financial documents according to NRC standards.Support in the month-end closing processes by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the cash ledger and all supporting documentation is in place and properly coded.Responsible for scanning and archiving finance documentation as per SSD guidelines for the Camps Office on a weekly and monthly basis.Make sure that the cashbook post back is updated with cash payment transactions daily and share with the Finance Team Lead for posting.Responsible for cashbox, cashflow and regular cash counts including the proper tracking of cash advances.Verify that the vouchers and the supporting documents meet NRC standards before proceeding with the payments.Daily bookkeeping, utilizing NRC Agresso accounting system.Ensure timely payment to IBVs, Suppliers, Service providers and other expenditures through bank transfers or cheques.Verify that the vouchers and the supporting documents meet NRC standards before proceeding with the payments.Ensure proper tracking and monitoring of supplier/program payments including monthly reconciliations with relevant parties.Prepare and review documentation for auditors as needed.Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
