Created in 1979, Action contre la Faim is a non-governmental organization that fights against hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principals- independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency - has been part of its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of under-nutrition, particularly during and after emergency situations linked to conflicts or natural disasters. Mission :
Under the supervision of the Area Coordinator, you will contribute to the development of the Country Strategy and will be accountable for the development, initiation, implementation, monitoring and execution of ACF programs in Mueda, according to the Country Strategy, ACF standards and donors regulations and requirements.
You will manage the support teams and ensure proper support to Program teams according to ACF standards, be in charge of security management in your area of concern, as per ACF standards and will be ACF representative towards District authorities, humanitarian actors and other key stakeholders.
Thus, your missions will be as follows :
Coordinate ACF country strategy implementation at field level - North base
Coordinate overall implementation of program at field level
Manage the team at field level (about 8 collaborators)
Facilitate good relationships with the Area and Coordination teams
Represent ACF and liaise with regional authorities, UN, NGOs at field and regional level
Ensure reporting and communication
Manage security

Profile :
You hold a Master's Degree in Humanitarian Program Coordination, International Development or International Relations.
You have at least 3 years of field experience in operational management of humanitarian projects/programs in a similar role. An experience in emergency context is required.
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial and leadership role, in a complex international setting, with training, coaching, capacity building experience and skills.
You are familiar with ACF intervention sectors (FSL, WaSH, Nutrition, MHPSS), you have substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices and good knowledge of financial and HR procedures.
You have strong communication, networking and representation skills (written, oral, cross cultural).
You have full professional proficiency in English, and professional working proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian.
Conditions d'emploi
Fixed term contract under French legislation: 12 months until 30/11/2026
Monthly gross salary from 2597 to 2968euros upon experience, including 13th month
Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
Monthly per diem and living allowance: 630euros net, field paid
Monthly country allowance: 300euros
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
Medical coverage: ACF covers 100% of the health and repatriation insurance agreement fees, for your medical expenses (as well as your dependents if you have a family post), and up to 1 month after the end of your contract.
Salary sustainment measures (sickness, paternity, maternity)
Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year, airfare reimbursement with a ceiling to get to the chosen break destination, and 215 euros for each RnR period
