Terms of Referenceโ€ข Highly developed policy design skills including in protection and asylum, program theory, evaluative frameworks including specific experience in evolving national programs in support of refugees. Demonstrated ability to analyse international and domestic refugee law and policy and to make recommendations based on an understanding of UNHCRโ€™s mandate.
โ€ข Advanced understanding of the refugee resettlement process and complementary pathways to the level of advising policymakers.
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in advocacy, consultation and liaison with government and non-governmental officials.
โ€ข Good knowledge of GRC and GRF mechanisms.
โ€ข Highly developed oral and written communication skills; to support running of workshops, engagement and preparation of policy and guidance materials.
โ€ข Previous experience working with UNHCR at a senior level.
โ€ข Previous experience working in an international capacity at a senior level.
โ€ข Postgraduate qualifications in evaluation.
