Result of ServiceCarry out the installation of solar PV-Hybrid power supply systems Work LocationDamascus Expected duration3 Months Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder this position, the two (2) LICs is expected to deliver the following. a. Carry out the installation of solar PV-Hybrid power supply systems including: - Mounting the solar PV panels on rooftops and ground-mounted structures. - Fabricate and construct additional ground mounted structures. - Mounting the inverters, batteries, AC/DC junction box & panelboards, monitoring system inside container control room. - Wiring and connecting of solar PV panels, inverters, batteries and other components. b. Must be able to lift to 40 kgs of equipment without assistance. c. Testing and commissioning of the complete systems. d. Perform other functions as assigned by the UNTSO OGGD Supervisor. Qualifications/special skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of three (3) years of practical experience with an organizations or company dealing with solar PV installation required. Experience in using hand and electrical tools and equipment required. Experience in working at height and high-level structures required. An advocate for safe and compliant work practices desirable. Experience to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions required. Training and certificate in solar PV installation is desirable LanguagesFluency in spoken English and Arabic is required.
